CHEER For Life Fund: Where Your Money Goes
Every season, CHEER Colorado volunteers fundraise individually and the pooled donations go directly to LGBTQIA+-focused nonprofits in Colorado as unrestricted gifts. No strings attached, no designated use. We trust the organizations we give to, and we let them use the funds where they're needed most.
Beneficiaries are nominated and voted on each season by CCO volunteers. Organizations interested in being considered can submit their information through our website.
Since 2017, we have directed more than $177,000 to organizations across Colorado.
Our History of Giving
2025: $30,000 to Trans and Gender Expansive Program of Rocky Mountain Equality
2024: $31,000 to SPLASH Youth of Northern CO, Alana Faith Chen Foundation, and Youth Celebrate Diversity
2023: $30,000 to Alana Faith Chen Foundation and CampSeen scholarship
2022: $29,000 to YouthSeen and the Colorado Healing Fund in response to Club Q
2021: $10,000 to Colorado Name Change Project, Youth Celebrate Diversity, and Transformative Freedom Fund
2020: $20,000 to Transgender Center of the Rockies
2019: $20,000 to Rainbow Alley
2018: $7,500 to Youth Celebrate Diversity
