The CHEER for Life fund provides annual unrestricted donations to nonprofit organizations that support the LGBTQIA+ community of Colorado. Organizations are nominated and voted on annually by CHEER Colorado volunteers. Since our inception in 2017 the CHEER for Life Fund has supported more than $147,000 in giving.

Season 7 (2024): $31,000 total donations

• $20,500 donation to SPLASH Youth of Northern Colorado, whose mission is to serve LGBTQIA+ youth (ages 5-24), their families, and communities. SPLASH provides essential resources, advocacy, and safe spaces that promote belonging and protect against self-harm, substance misuse, and youth homelessness.

• $5,500 donation to Alana Faith Chen Foundation

• $5,000 donation to Youth Celebrate Diversity

Season 6 (2023): $30,000 total donations

• $23,000 donation to Alana Faith Chen Foundation, supporting every LGBTQ+ person at risk of suicide access to the mental health treatment and therapy they need.

• $7,000 donation to the CampSeen​ scholarship fund, dedicated to memory of Alana Faith Chen. 

Season 5 (2022): $29,000 total donations

• $28,500 donation to YouthSeen​, dedicated to supporting our QTBIPoC communities. 

• $500 donation to Colorado Healing Fund, supporting Club Q Shooting Response

Season 4 (2021): $10,000 total donations

• $5,000 donation to Colorado Name Change Project, dedicated to improving the lives of transgender Coloradans by assisting them with their legal name change and gender marker corrections

• $3,000 donation to Youth Celebrate Diversity, dedicated to educating and empowering youth in order to advance inclusion and equity for all

• $2,000 donation to Transformative Freedom Fund, supporting the authentic selves of transgender Coloradans by removing financial barriers to transition related healthcare

Season 3 (2020): $20,000 donation

• Transgender Center of the Rockies, providing holistic gender-affirming services to support transgender and gender-expansive individuals

Season 2 (2019): $20,000 donation

• Rainbow Alley, a safe and brave space supporting LGBTQ youth and their allies ages 11 to 21

Season 1 (2018): $7,500 donation

• Youth Celebrate Diversity, dedicated to educating and empowering in order to advance equity for all.
